In the heart of India

The roads which run through the green patches in Panchmarhi

A view of the breathtaking Marbles rock in Bhedaghat (above and below)

Hello Members,

Here is a low-down on the place where our centre plans to send our members during the Diwali holidays. The central most provinces located in the geographic heart of India, Madhya Pradesh has been zeroed down as the final destination.

Who does not know Khajuraho or Rewa district where the first white tigers in India were found. The proposed Diwali tour will take our members through the glittering splendour of Marble Rocks in Bhedaghat. Undoubtedly these white rocks are genuine spectacles of nature. The moonlit journey to this place will give your eye a serene and tranquil sensation.

Also watch out for the Dhuandhar falls in Bhedghat. The sound of the vociferous waterfalls can spark enthusiasm even in a dead man’s body.

The next best destination in this state is the hill station called Pachmarhi. It is Madhya Pradesh's most verdant jewel, a place where nature gives out a breathtaking expression. It is green coloured all over the mountains, and the peaceful environment is such that even the soothing hum of flowing water is audible from a distance.

The magnificence of nature is complemented by the works of man from the medieval period. Pachmarhi is an archaeological treasure-house. The Mahadeo Hills caves are stocked with rock paintings of super richness. The earliest paintings in the caves are an estimated 10,000 years old.
Tell me honestly how many of you actually and almost went on to Madhya Pradesh while reading. If this happens just while reading this post, imagine what experience you all would have while encountering the nature's amazing beauties. So one and all keep in touch with the committee for the progress on the tour to MP.
